1. All short Movies and Documentaries should be submitted in digital format (Video) with maximum time duration of 30 minutes or below are eligible for the festival

2. Final date for submission is 13th of November’ 2023

3. Entries of all short movies/Documentaries shall be accepted only in online links (G-drive, YouTube etc)

4. English sub titles should be provided for non-Malayalam short Movies/Documentaries.

5. Registration fee shall not be refunded under any circumstances once the application has been selected.

6. FCFS (First Clap Film Society) has complete authority to use any part of the selected movies/Documentaries for any promotions and advertising purposes.

7. FCFS shall not be liable for any disputes regarding the entry movies including copy right violation.

8. Expatriates too shall submit their entries if interested

11. Selected Short Movies and documentaries which are submitted for the final screening will not be allowed to withdraw from the festival under any circumstances.

12. A person or an organization can submit more than one short movie or documentary. Separate application forms needed for each individual short Movies or Documentaries. There is no limit for submissions.

13. For all short listed entries, Certificates will be awarded.

14. Prize & Certificate will be awarded to the director (s) or producer (s) of the film. For any duties, fees and charges accrued for the transportation of the trophy will be covered from the recipient. The festival organisers are not liable for the same

15. Online links submitted for selection will be considered as final and no changes will be entertained after submission. It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to submit the short movies and documentaries through online with proper quality

16. Entry forms with incorrect - inadequate - illegible - ambiguous particulars will not be considered.

17. Selection of short movies and documentaries for First Clap Film Society International Film Festival (i3FC) will be done by a committee and the committee decision will be final. However, festival authorities reserve the right to accept or reject any short movies or documentaries which are likely to promote racism or ill will in the society.

18. All duties and taxes will be deducted from the price money

19. Any updates related to the festival and the result will be published on the official website www.firstclapfilmsociety.com

20. All entries that meet the participation criteria will be submitted to a ten member jury panel. Those entries which demonstrate outstanding creativity and technicality will receive special consideration. Among submitted entries, 5 short movies each from regular category and campus category and 5 documentaries each from regular category and campus category will be selected for screening in the festival mini theater called Vedhi in kairali & sree theater complex, Kozhikode and a final five member jury panel consisting of renowned filmmakers will declare the best short movie and best documentary in the closing ceremony of the FCFS Film Festival ie i3FC dias.
